*New – LGMA Classical Guitar Circle*

Do you play Classical Guitar?  Would you like to meet  others with the same interests as well as learning more about the instrument and improve on your own playing abilities?

The LGMA Guitar Circle, hosted by Adele Neilson will meet on the first Sunday of every month at The United Reformed Church, 11 Old Coach Road, East Kilbride at 4pm.  It is open to any classical guitarist, beginner or advanced.  The group will meet for approximitely 2 hours and during this time a variety of events and activities will take place which will vary from month to month.  The proposal is to discuss a different classical guitar technique each month as well as having an open stage where people can play to one another.  This will be as formal or as informal as the individual likes, whether they want to treat it as a real performance and have feedback and advice, or perhaps just play through a few bars of what they have been learning.  Other topics will include ensemble playing, reviews of different CD’s, tutor and technique books as well as occassionally bringing in guest speakers and hosting performances from other classical guitar players. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about your instrument, improve on your playing, meet and get to know other classical guitarists and generally have fun!

If you are interested in coming along then please don’t hesitate to contact Ian Steel, the LGMA Administrator to secure your place. (email mandolinscotland@yahoo.co.uk or tel: 07828 140127)

The first meeting is on Sunday 5th September 2010 at 4pm.

Solo Guitar Music at Wedding Ceremonies

Adele’s solo guitar playing can provide the finishing touches to any wedding ceremony.  She can provide music for the entrance of the bride, to entertain your guests while you sign the register, and create a relaxed atmosphere while your photos are taken. She can also provide a versitile soundtrack to your drinks reception and/or wedding breakfast that won’t prevent guests from mingling.  Music can range from Classical and Easy Listening to more upbeat South American, Spanish and even Popular arrangements.  For a more personal touch, she can arrange a piece of music or song apon request – almost anything is possible – just ask!
